Birdy Bread
Makes one 9 x 13 pan
1 box Jiffy corn
bread mix
1 jar peas or green bean baby food
1 jar sweet potatoes or carrots baby food
¼ c brown rice, cooked and finely chopped
4 hardboiled eggs & shells, finely chopped
2 eggs, raw
¼ finch or dove seed
½ c apple sauce
¼
c ground cuttle bone, mineral supplements, or ground oyster shells (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°.
Blend ingredients together just until moistened. Pour batter into 9 x 13 metal
or glass pan. Bake until golden brown (about 20 – 25 minutes). Cool
completely. Cut into 1-inch squares. Freeze any extra.
